OFFICIAL: ENPPI sign former Argentina U17 international Brian Ferreira
Ferreira is somewhat of a journeyman as he played for five different teams across Latin America and also played in Malaysia.
The 24-year-old started his career with Velez Sarsfield in Argentina. Three years later, he joined Olimpo and then Independiente II.
During his time in Argentina, he played 45 games, including five in the Copa Libertadores with Velez Sarsfield, and scored one goal.
In January 2017, he signed for Malaysian side Johor Darul Ta’zim FC, and seven months later he moved to Ecuadorian side Fuerza Amarilla, before ending up at Chile’s Coquimbo Unido.
On the international level, Ferreira has represented the Argentina national team at the U-17 level, scoring two goals in 11 appearances.
Ferreira is the petroleum side’s fourth signings after they acquired Omar Bassam from Misr El-Makassa, Dakhleya defender Ahmed Saber, Omar Fathi from Ismaily and Chadrack Lukombe from Congolese side AS Vita Club.
ENPPI currently sit 15th in the Egyptian Premier League table with 19 points, only two away from the relegation zone.
