Al Ahly reveal offers for Salif Coulibaly, Ahmed Alaa, Mahmoud El-Gazzar
Coulibaly played the full 90 minutes as the Red Devils secured a valuable 2-0 home win against AS Vita Club in the first round of the CAF Champions League group-stages, thanks to goals from Nasser Maher and Ali Maaloul.
Salif Coulibaly is so close to leaving the club, and director of football Sayed Abdel-Hafiz revealed that the Malian has received an offer from Iraqi side Al Shorta SC.
“Coulibaly has received an offer from Iraqi side Al Shorta. We will discuss his future in a meeting with Martin Lasarte on Sunday,” Sayed Abdel-Hafiz said.
“Ahmed Alaa and Mahmoud El-Gazzar have also received offers, and a decision on their future with the club will be made in the upcoming hours,” he added.
Salif Coulibaly has only joined Al Ahly last summer on a free transfer, making 21 appearances for the Reds while scoring three goals and assisting twice.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Alaa has only featured in five games for Al Ahly since joining them last summer from El-Dakheyla.
Al Ahly have already let go of four of their players as Sabry Rahil has joined Ittihad of Alexandria on a permanent basis, while Amr Barakat joined Smouha on loan, and Ahmed Yasser Rayan and Ahmed Hamdi signed for El-Gouna also on loan.
