Egypt handball lose to Qatar in World Championship

team lost their second game in a row in the World Men’s Handball Championship after claimed a 28-23 victory over the Pharaohs.

Egypt were drawn into Group D with Sweden, Hungary, Qatar, Argentina, and Angola, with the top three teams advance to the next round.

Despite a brilliant performance, the team lost their opening game of the championship 27-24 against four-time world champions Sweden.

The Pharaohs were not in their best form against Qatar and gave their opponents a good chance to dominate the game.

Now Egypt is at the bottom of the group and have no choice but to win their three remaining games to be able to proceed to the main round.

The team will face Argentina on Monday and Hungary on Wednesday. Then they will meet fellow African side Angola in the last round.
