Ahaddad set to stay at Zamalek despite interest from Wydad Casablanca
Zamalek have made it clear that Moroccan forward Hamid Ahaddad is staying at the club despite reported interest from Wydad Casablanca.
The 24-year-old has joined the Cairo giants last summer from Difaa El Jadida, however, he managed to play 39 minutes only and is yet to start a game for the Whites.
Ahaddad looked certain to leave Zamalek following the arrival of Morocco international Khalid Boutaïb this January, but today, the club has announced that they have decided not to sell or loan him.
They also added that trio Ayman Hefny, Ahmed Madbouli, and Mohamed Antar will not leave the club as they are part of their starting eleven.
Madbouli is yet to feature for the Whites this season, while Ayman Hefny and Mohamed Antar have eight appearances and only one goal combined between them.
Zamalek have signed only one player in the January transfer window, Khalid Boutaïb, and have let go of three, Kabongo Kasongo, Bassem Morsi, and Mahmoud Dunga.
