The 20-year-old has joined Stade Tunisien last December, signing a three-and-a-half year deal, which will keep him at the club until 2022.

Selim had to wait to make his debut for the Tunisian side as they played only two games in January, including a 4-1 loss to giants Etoile du Sahel.

The Egyptian enjoyed a dream debut when he scored the winner for Stade Tunisien against unbeaten CA Bizertin away from home in the Tunisian Cup.

In the 82nd minute, Selim received a great ball after a solo effort from Mohamed Salah Mhadhebi, before putting the ball past the keeper, to secure Stade Tunisien’s place in the quarter-finals.

Selim is a 20-year-old winger, who has represented Egyptian sides Tersana and ENPPI at the youth level, before moving to Italy at the age of 11.

He joined the AC Milan Academy for two years, before playing professionally for A.C. Legnano, Pro Sesto, and Varese in the Serie C.

Mohamed Selim is the only Egyptian in the Tunisian Ligue 1 following the departure of Amr Marei from Étoile Sportive du Sahel to Pyramids FC.
