VIDEO: Kouka scores as Olympiacos run riot against Panionios
Ahmed Hassan Kouka has scored his third league goal of the season to help Olympiacos beat Panionios 4-0 in the 19th round of the Greek Super League.
The Egyptian has now taken his tally to five goals in 18 games across all competitions, since joining the Greek giants on loan from Sporting Braga last summer.
Kouka started on Saturday as Olympiacos hosted Panionios at the Karaiskakis Stadium, and the first-half didn’t witness much action as it ended 0-0.
However, Egypt international Ahmed Hassan Kouka opened the scoring for the hosts in the 68th minute, tapping in Vassilios Torosidis’s low cross into the net.
Kouka’s goal was the turning point of the game, as Miguel Guerrero doubled Olympiacos’ lead in the 75th minute, and four minutes later Lazaros Christodoulopoulos made it 3-0 from the spot.
Hassan was subbed off in the 83rd minute, but that didn’t stop Olympiacos from scoring their fourth of the game, which came through Jagos Vukovic three minutes later.
Following the win, Olympiacos are currently second in the Greek Super League with 45 points, five behind leaders PAOK FC, but the latter have a game in hand.
