Former Al Masry striker Aristide Bance returns to Burkina Faso
Veteran Burkinabe striker Aristide Bance has officially completed his return to home country after sealing a move to top flight club US des Forces Armées.
Bance has terminated his contract with Al Masry in late 2018. Since his move to Portsaid the striker made 19 appearances with the Port Said based club scoring eight goals and produced three assists.
Al Masry’s relation with the 34-year-old player was not always ideal, on multiple occasions, the Burkina Faso international fled Egypt without previous notice to his parent club.
It was confirmed on Thursday that Bance has agreed a six-month contract with USFA until the rest of the 2018/2019 season.
Bance had spells with clubs in Ivory Coast, Belgium, UAE, Latvia, Finland, Qatar, Ukraine, South Africa and Kazakhstan. His move to USFA represents an important opportunity to show his cards ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations 2019 in Egypt in June.
The former Al Masry striker made 73 appearances for Burkina Faso, including the 2013, 2015 and 2017 Nations Cups, and has scored 22 goals.
