Zamalek name the set of players to face Nogoom FC

Christian Gross has named the set of players that will travel to face Nogoom in the .

League leaders Zamalek will continue their title pursuit this weekend away at Nogoom. The Cairo giants are only three points ahead of Pyramids, but with three games in hand at their disposal due to the congested fixture list with the CAF Confederation Cup.

The travelling set of players is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Abdel Rahim, Gennesh & Emad El Sayed.

Defenders: Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Bahaa Magdy, Abdallah Gomaa, Mahmoud Hamdi & Mohamed Abdel Salam.

Midfield: Ferjani Sassi, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Ibrahim Hassan, Youssef Obama, Mohamed Antar, Ayman Hefny, Ahmed Madbouli & Ahmed Sayed “Zizo”.

Forwards: Omar Al Said, Hamed Ahmed & Khalid Boutaib.

The squad sees a first appearance for Ahmed Sayed “Zizo” who had previously been plying his trade with Moreirense in Portugal. Notable exclusions include Tarek Hamed, Kahraba and Hamdi Nagguez, either out with suspension or injury.

The match takes place on Saturday 9th February at 6PM Egyptian time at Nogoom’s home ground.
