Seven Egyptians in Qatar on national team radar
Egypt’s assistant manager José Tito has revealed that the national team are monitoring seven players in the Qatar Stars League.
According to EFA’s vice president Ahmed Shobier, Javier Aguirre will be looking to call-up a number of inexperienced players for the March internationals.
“I was in Qatar in the past period to watch a number of Egyptian players there,” Tito told ONSport.
“There are seven players in Qatar, who we didn’t know a lot about, but that has changed now.
“There is Farid Ibrahim Farid in Al Ahli of Qatar, Mostafa Mohamed in Al-Sailiya, and there is also a player who plays in Qatar SC.”
Garcia refused to mention the rest of the names, adding that they had been also to Turkey to watch some players, with Hany Ramzy travelling to Greece in the upcoming period to do the same thing there.
