Greek side have settled for a 2-2 draw at home against with Egypt forward on target in the first leg of their Europa League round of 32 meeting.

Kouka’s Olympiacos finished as runner-ups in the Europa League’s Group F behind leaders Real Betis after finishing on points parity with Milan but with the advantage of goal difference, before they were drawn against Ukraine giants Dinamo Kyiv.

Olympiacos captain Costas Fortounis found Kouka unmarked who tried a left-footed shot that found its way to the Dinamo net on the ninth minute.

In the 28th minute, Viktor Tsyhankov spotted Tomasz Kedziora who crossed inside the box to Vitaliy Buyalski and he equalised with ease for Ukraine’s representatives.

However, Olympiacos managed to restore their lead five minutes before half-time through Gil Dias who struck a stupendous volley from long distance. In the second half things moved calmly before Tsyhankov found Benjamin Verbic for the Slovenian to level the score for Dinamo to capture a crucial away draw.

The second leg will take place on Thursday, February 21 in Kyiv.
