CAF announce date for Zamalek vs Petro de Luanda clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the date of the game between Zamalek  and in the Confederations Cup.

Zamalek were drawn in Group D alongside Kenya’s Gor Mahia, NA Hussein Day from Algeria and Angolan side Petro de Luanda.

The Whites Knights currently sit bottom of their group with just one point. They lost their opening game 4-2 to Gor Mahia. Then they drew 1-1 in their latest game against NA Hussein Dey.

Now they are set to face second-placed Atletico Petro de Luanda in their next game in the tournament on Sunday February 24 at 9 pm GMT+2.

Zamalek are also currently on top of the Egyptian Premier League table with 51 points. Six above their closest rival, Pyramids FC. Their next game will be against ninth-placed Tala’a El Geish on February 20.
