EFA: Zamalek fined, El-Makkasa coach banned
The Egyptian Football Association’s committee of competitions have announced disciplinary decisions related to some of the games in the Egyptian Premier League.
The first decision was suspending Misr El-Makkasa coach Talaat Youssef for one game and fining him 10K EGP for giving offensive statements against the EFA.
Zamalek manager Christian Gross has been fined with 15K EGP for not attending post match press conference after his team’s game against ENPPI. The Whites were also fined 20K for their fans’ verbal abuse against the club rivals, in addition to 10K for throwing balls constantly on the pitch by the club ball boys.
El-Makkasa’s Shimelis Bekele was suspended for one game for accumulation of yellow cars. Wadi Degla’s Vasilios Bouzas was hit with a two-match ban for unsporting behaviour after getting sent off.
El Gouna’s Ahmed Ali and Pyramids’ Ali Gabr were both suspended for one game due to their red cards during the encounter.
