Karim ‘Nedved’ scores again as Al Ahly defeats Petrojet 4-0

Karim ‘Nedved’ continued his splending form as he scored in Al Ahly entertaining 4-0 victory against Petrojet in the Egyptian Premier League.

Al Ahly started in an electrifying fashion, as Junior Ajayi took the lead for the Reds just 8 minutes into the game. The Nigerian converted Naser Maher’s in-swinging cross from the corner kick into the back of the net.

Marwan Mohsen doubled the lead for the Red Devils in the 31st minute, when he finished Geraldo’s clever backheel pass with a stunning strike.

Around the 69th minute, Geraldo turned from producer to scorer, when he extended Al Ahly’s lead to 3-0. The winger was left with a simple touch after Maher dribbled past the defence and released Ali Maloul, who squared the ball towards the Angolan.

Less than six minutes later, scored his side’s fourth goal of the night, as he received Ajayi’s pass inside the box and converted from a close range to secure the full points for the Reds.

After the win, Al Ahly sit second with 52 points just one point away from league leaders Zamalek. Meanwhile, Petrojet occupy the 11th spot witb 25 points.

Mohammed Salama is a 21-year-old who fell in love with football since Egypt's AFCON final match against Ivory Coast! Strangely enough an Al Ahly and Al Masry fan locally. In addition, he's a hardcore Bayern Munich supporter.
