Gor Mahia boss assures Zamalek debacle will make them stronger
Gor Mahia coach Hassan Oktay has stated that his side’s huge defeat against Zamalek in the CAF Confederations Cup will help them improve and learn from their mistakes.
Gor Mahia were dealt a big loss after Zamalek prevailed 4-0 over them in the fifth round of the 2019 Confederations Cup group stage.
The Kenyan side currently sit in the bottom of Group D with six points with one game against Petro Atletico in Nairobi with the victory only in their sight in order to ensure qualification to the next round.
“Every loss makes you more stronger. You find that you note so many weaknesses in your team whenever playing outside the country and you try to improve them,” Oktay told Nation Sport.
“The more they play away from home, the more they improve themselves. We are going to give 100 percent in this game, nothing less, we have to.”
