Boutaib returns as Zamalek name squad for NA Hussein Dey clash


Moroccan striker Khaled Boutaib returned to ’s squad set to face Algerian side in match-day 6 of the Confederations Cup.

Zamalek are currently top of their group with 8 points, and one point from second place, Petro Luanda. The Whites will face NA Hussein Dey on Sunday March 17th at the Stade du 20 Août.

They will need a win in their upcoming game to secure direct qualification to the next round.

The squad saw the return of Morocco international Khaled Boutaib after he missed out on their 4-0 win over Gor Mahia due to the death of his father.

Ahmed Madbouli and Mohamed also re-earned their spot in the the squad. Nonetheless Ayman Hefny is still absent from the squad.

Zamalek squad:

Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Abdel Rahim Gennesh, Emad El Sayed, Omar Salah.

Defenders: Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel-Salam, Mohamed Abdel Ghany, Bahaa Magdy, Abdallah Gomaa, Mahmoud Hamdi, Hamdi Nagguez, Hazem Emam.

Midfielders: Ferjani Sassi, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Ibrahim Hassan, Youssef Obama, Ayman Hefny, Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Kahraba, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Ahmed Madbouli, Mohamed Antar.

Forwards: Omar El-Said, Hamed Ahdad, Khaled Boutaib.
