Arsenal legend has urged Senegal hero to benefit from his splendid form and emulate ’s 2017/2018 season with Liverpool.

Mane is living a fine moment in the 2018/2019 season with 17 goals and two assists to his name in the Premier League. He has also visited the net on three occasions in the Champions League this term.

But the former Southampton star still got a long way to go in order to approach the numbers of Salah, who had a tremendous last season that saw him finish the season with 44 goals across all competitions, including a record-breaking 32-goal tally in the English Premier League.

“There’s not much more for him to improve on really. Apart from to just consistently, continuously score goals. He’s got better, of course he has,” Wright told BBC Radio 5Live.

“The only thing you’d look at him and think, ‘What can he do more?’. Just go and have a season like Mo Salah had. I’m not saying he can totally replicate that kind of goalscoring form Mo had. That’s the only thing left.”

“He can do everything. He can defend, he can play centre forward, he can play wing, he can play anywhere.”
