Besiktas interested in Mohamed Elneny – Reports
Elneny joined Arsenal in 2016 from Swiss powerhouse FC Basel after having spent three years at the club.
The 26-year-old represented the Gunners on 83 occasions, during which he scored twice and provided eight assists. He also managed to win both the FA Cup and the Community Shield.
However over the past year, the Egyptian has been lacking playing time, for instance, he made just 11 appearances this season at club level.
Now according to 90min Turkey, Turkish giants Besiktas are interested in acquiring the Egyptian in the upcoming transfer window.
Besiktas are currently third on the Turkish league table with 47 points, 11 behind league leaders Istanbul Basaksehir. Their next game will be against eighth-placed Rizerspor on April 8.
As for Arsenal, they have been climbing the Premier League table as they currently sit fourth with 60 points, just one behind third-placed Tottenham Hotspurs. They play against Newcastle United in their next game on April 1.
