EFA announce referees for Pyramids vs Petrojet game

Egypt’s FA () have announced that Slovenian referee Matej Jug will be officiating the clash between and Petrojet in the 27th fixture of the .

Petrojet are set to host Pyramids FC on Monday night. They will hope to secure a positive result to escape the relegation zone as they currently sit 14th with 25 points same as third to last-place Smouha.

On the other hand Pyramids are sitting third and if they grab a win the will cement their position among the top three.

The EFA have announced that Slovenian referee Matej Jug has been chosen to officiate the game.

The 38-year-old was in charge of 22 games this season in several competitions including the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and the UEFA Nations League. During these games he gave away 101 yellow cards, three direct red cards and four penalties.

He will be assisted by Aleksandar Kasalovic and David Gabrovic.

Egypt’s footballing governing body also announced that Egyptian referee Mahmoud Nagy will officiate the league game between Talaa El-Geish and Harass El-Hodood. He will be assisted by Ossama El-Said, Khaled Ramadan and Hussein Ismail. The fifth referees will be Ibrahim Mahgoub and Said Abdallah.
