CAF change location of Al Ahly vs Sundowns game

The Confederation of African Football () have announced that the game between and Sundowns will be played in the Suez stadium instead of Borg El Arab stadium.

Al Ahly will face in the first of the Champions League quarterfinals first leg next Saturday away. Then a week later they will host the Masandawana on their home turf.

However the CAF had already demanded from the Egyptian FA to not allow Al Ahly or Zamalek to not play in the Borg El Arab stadium during their Champions League and Confederations Cup games.

Therefore the CAF have announced that Al Ahly’s game against Mamelodi Sundowns, on April 13, will be moved from Borg El Arab to the Suez Stadium.

The Red Devils are currently on top of the Egyptian Premier League table with 55 points. Second-placed Zamalek are just one point behind with a game in hand.
