Egypt remain in 57th place in latest FIFA world rankings
Egypt have remained in the 57th place in the latest FIFA world rankings after their disappointing results in the March international break.
The two results made Egypt lose nine points, however, they remained 57th in the world rankings and eighth in the CAF ranking, behind the likes of Tunisia, Senegal, Nigeria, and Morocco.
Meanwhile, Senegal rose one place to 23rd and retained the top spot of the CAF rankings, with Tunisia coming second as they sit 28th in the world rankings.
Nigeria (42), Morocco (45), and Congo DR (46) completed the top five spots, and were followed by Ghana (49) and Cameroon (54).
The biggest climbers in African football were Tanzania who moved up six places following their historic AFCON qualification last month, while Congo dropped eight places to 92 after their defeat to Zimbabwe.
