Gross: We have come to Morocco to win the game


Zamalek manager has insisted that his side are determined to seal the victory in Morocco against in CAF Confederations Cup.

Zamalek are playing against Hassania Agadir on Sunday in Stade Adrar in the first leg of the quarter finals of 2019 CAF Confederations Cup.

Gross has claimed that his team have come to Morocco in order to win the game, admitting, on the other hand, it isn’t going to be an easy task for the White Knights.

“We are determined and focused. We are looking forward to return back to Cairo with a positive result before the second leg,” Gross spoke in the press conference.

Zamalek will be playing the game without and Hamid Ahdad for suspension, in addition to Hazem Emam who has been ruled out of Sunday’s game due to injury.

However the Swiss manager has expressed his faith in his team, believing that he has enough players who can replace the missed one.

“We are missing some important players, but we have others who are ready to replace them.We know that our oppoenents are having missing players as well,”

“We have come to Morocco to win the game and to end up with a positive result. First leg is always important in Knockout games,” Gross concluded.

The match between Hassania Agadir and Zamalek takes place today at 9PM Egyptian time in Morocco.
