Mamelodi Sundowns announce squad for Al Ahly clash

South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns have announced a 25-man squad for their game against in the quarterfinals second leg.

Sundowns thrashed Al Ahly with a 5-0 scoreline at home in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.

The Masandawana will enter the game with a huge advantage over the hosts in the second leg as the Reds will need to score six goals. And in the meantime keep a clean sheet.

The squad includes former Al Ahly forward Phakamani Mahlambi and their skipper Hlompho Kekana.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Reyad Pieterse, Denis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene.

Defenders: Manyisa, Teborgo Langermann, Rivaldo Coetzee, Mosa Lebusa, Bangaly Soumahoro, Wayne Arendse, Thapela Morena, Ricardo Nascimento, Anele Ngcongca.

Midfielders: Hlompho Kekana, Tiyani Mabunda, Themba Zwane, Andile Jali, Sibusiso Vilakazi.

Forwards: Lyle Lakay, Lebohang Maboe, Jeremy Brockie, Emiliano Tade, Phakamani Mahlambi, Gaston Sirino, Jose Ali Meza, Sphelele Mkhulise.

Al Ahly will host Sundowns in Suez next Saturday April 13.
