Al Ahly announce squad ahead of crucial Sundowns clash

manager Martin Lasarte announced a 21-man squad ahead of their clash against Mamelodi ahead in the quarterfinals second leg.

Sundowns thrashed Al Ahly with a 5-0 scoreline at home in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals. The Reds will be hoping for a miracle in the second-leg to compensate the first result. Al Ahly will host Sundowns in Suez next Saturday April 13.

They will be missing the likes of Saad Samir and Sherif Ekramy due to injury. Ahmed Hamoudi has also been left-out for technical reasons.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed El-Shennawy, Aly Lotfy, Mostafa Shobeir.

Defenders: Ahmed Fathi, Ayman Ashraf, Rami Rabiaa, Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed Hany, Ali Maaloul, Mohamed Wahid.

Midfielders: Amr Solaya, Nasser Maher, Hussein El-Shahat, Ramadan Sobhi, Hamdi Fathi, Hamdi Fathi, Mohamed Sherif.

Forwards: Marwan Mohsen, Walid Azarou, Salah Mohsen, Junior Ajayi.
