Al Hilal-Etoile clash to be played in Cairo

The Confederation of African Football () have announced that Sudan’s will be hosting in Cairo due to the country’s instability.

Sudan has been witnessing several protests over the past weeks demanding the overthrowing over the current regime. In consequence, CAF have demanded Al Hilal to move their upcoming game against Etoile du Sahel to Cairo, Egypt.

The Blue Waves have been drawn with Tunisian giants Etoile in the quarterfinals. They lost the first leg 3-1 away from home.

Now they will be hosting them in neighbour country Egypt, however, the date is yet to be decided.

Al Hilal are currently on top of Group B of the Sudanese League with 28 points. Just above second-placed Al Ahli Shandi on goal difference.
