Talaat Youssef resigns as Misr El-Makkasa manager

chairman Mohamed Abdelsalam confirmed that has resigned his position as first team manager.

Youssef was appointed as El-Makkasa manager in February 2018 after spending a brief period with Smouha.

Since taking charge of the Fayoum-based side he managed them through 42 games, winning 19, losing 14 and drawing nine. In addition, he guided them to the sixth position in the thus far this season.

Despite his respectable record the 64-year-old decided to resign from his position. Following this decision club chairman, Mohamed Abdelsalam, confirmed that the board will hold a meeting to discuss the future of the managerial spot.

Abdelsalam said that they won’t rush in deciding Youssef’s successor as the season is coming to an end and they’ll have a lot of time to take the decision.

El-Makkasa will be hosting second-placed Pyramids FC in their upcoming game on April 30.
