“It’s always nice to win games, I know it’s been nine in a row and we have to focus on the next game now. Because it’s going to be tough against Millwall at home.

“Everyone now is playing with a lot of confidence, we have to keep focusing and keep winning games,”

Elmohamady made 36 appearances for Aston Villa this season, scoring twice and providing seven assists.

“Sometimes you play against teams like Bolton who are always going to make it difficult and on Monday we have Millwall, that’s going to be tough.

“Now teams come at Villa Park sit back and wait for the counter-attack or a set piece to score, so we have to concentrate on ourselves and be focused. We have the talent in the team to finish the game at any minute like you saw today.
