legend belives that Egypt’s can win them the title this season.

Salah has been having an amazing couple weeks with the Reds where he scored in three consecutive games, against Southampton, Chelsea and Porto.

He has now netted 23 goals across all competitions and scored 19 goals in Premier League putting him on top of the goalscoring charts.

Liverpool legendary forward Ian Rush praised the Egyptian, stating that he could win them the league title this season.

“You’d probably say game-to-game Mane has been Liverpool’s forward player of the season but then I think Salah is still the one that could win them the league,” Rush told Sky Sports.

“Salah was out of this world last year. I’m not sure if he got the recognition he deserved but he was never going to score as many goals as he did last season.

“I think the goals against Southampton, and in particular Chelsea – where he went off late on to a standing ovation – have been a real pick-up for him, confidence-wise.

“I think he has become a more complete footballer this season because he always seems to have two players marking him now. He’s adapted to that and it has probably given Mane more space which he has benefitted from,” he added.

Mane on the other hand scored a total of 22 goals between all competitions and has been having arguably his best season since joining Liverpool.

“But it’s impossible to choose one of them. If I had to choose, I’d choose them both!” He concluded.

Liverpool are currently on top of the Premier League table with 85 points, two ahead of second-placed Manchester City, who still have a game in hand. They will be hoping to win all of their remaining four games and for Man City to slip to secure the long-awaited Premier League title.
