EFA fine Al Ahly due to fans misconduct, ban Nogoom midfielder for four games
The Egyptian FA competitions committee have imposed fines on Al Ahly and Entag El-Harby and suspended Nogoom FC’s player for four games.
The Red Devils have been fined EGP 40,000 after their fans’ insulted Pyramids FC chairman Turki Al-Sheikh and a number of the club’s staff members.
Pyramids ended up winning the game 1-0, thanks to Keno’s first-half strike, which earned the full three points to Al-Sheikh’s club.
On the other hand, Entag was also fined EGP 20,000 due to one of the staff’s misconduct during his side’s clash against Arab Contractors, which the latter won 2-1.
Nogoom FC’s midfielder Amr El-Sisi has been banned for four games due to unsportsmanlike conduct towards the referee during the Petrojet game, which his side lost.
This means that El-Sisi will now miss his side’s games against Ittihad of Alexandria, Al Ahly, and Pyramids FC, with the team currently sitting bottom of the league table.
