Nogoom FC appoint Ramadan El-Sayed as new manager
have announced the appointment of as the
 club’s new manager following the resignation of Momen Soliman.

The former Zamalek manager has resigned from his job as Nogoom head coach following a 2-1 defeat to Petrojet in the 30th round of the Egyptian Premier League, which left the club at the bottom of the league table.

Nogoom, who accepted Soliman’s resignation, have announced on Monday the appointment of Ramadan El-Sayed as the club’s new manager until the end of the season in an attempt to keep at the club at the top flight.

The job will become El-Sayed’s third one in the top flight after taking charge of Petrojet and El-Raja before, however, he couldn’t save the latter from relegation last season.

“I am ready for the challenge. We still have our chances to stay in the Premier League this season; however, we need to do our best for the remaining games of the season,” El-Sayed said.

“Considering it has been their first appearance in the Premier League, Nogoom have played quite well with their young players; nevertheless, we need to do much better in the remaining games,” he concluded.

He becomes Nogoom’s sixth manager in their first-ever season in the top flight after Diaa El-Sayed, Alaa Hesballah, and Antonio Calderon, Ahmed Samy, and Momen Soliman.

Nogoom will need a miracle to stay in the league this season as they currently sit bottom with 25 points, five away from the safe zone, and they will still face Al Ahly, Pyramids FC, and Al Masry.
