And one of their transfer targets for next season is Egypt’s Mahmoud Trezeguet, who currently plies his trade at Turkey’s , according to France Football.

Signed from RSC Anderlecht in 2017, Trezeguet has set the world alight at Kasimpasa, having made 67 appearances for them, in which he has scored 25 goals and made 18 assists.

The Al Ahly youngster has confirmed last month that he is set to leave Kasmipasa next summer after the club promised him to let him go in the upcoming transfer window.

Trezeguet has been linked with a number of European clubs, namely Germany’s VfB Stuttgart, Italian sides Lazio and NapoliBeşiktaş and Galatasaray of Turkey, as well as Czech club Sparta Prague.

If he managed to secure a deal with Lyonnais, Trezeguet will become the first Egyptian to play in Ligue 1 since 2008, with Ahmed Abou Moslem being the last one to do so when he featured for RC Strasbourg.
