Klopp provides update on Salah’s injury status
Liverpool will face Wolverhampton in the final matchday of the season in a final attempt to clinch the missing Premier League title since 1990 ahead of Manchester City who are currently look closer to the trophy with Brighton & Hove Albion awaiting them in the ultimate round.
Salah missed Liverpool’s phenomenal comeback beating Barcelona 4-0 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions semifinal despite coming from a 3-0 deficit in the first leg at the Camp Nou to secure a spot in competition’s final for the second year in a row.
The Premier League top scorer was ruled out of the Reds’ tie against Barcelona after suffering a concussion that resulted from a clash with Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka in the two teams game against each other.
However and according to Klopp, the Egypt international is good to go starting from Liverpool’s encounter against Wolves.
“Mo looked good around the celebrations after the game, to be honest! The day before yesterday and yesterday he was running outside and will be part of training today,” Klopp said.
