Nogoom FC suffer relegation from Egyptian PL

have suffered relegation from the just one season after their historic promotion.

The newly-promoted side becomes the first team to get relegated, following their 2-1 loss to Misr El-Makassa on Friday night.

Even though they have beaten Cairo giants Zamalek at the start of the season, Nogoom FC’s season was highlighted by a series of managerial changes which disrupted the club’s stability.

Throughout the season they have had four managers in Antonio Calderon, Ahmed Samy, former Zamalek manager Momen Soliman, and finally Ramadan El-Sayed.

Nogoom FC’s failed to win any of their last 13 games and currently sit bottom of the league table with 25 points and just two games to go. Their next is set to take place on May 22 against second-placed Pyramids FC.

They could be joined by El-Dakhelya, who will need to win their remaining three games against the likes of Zamalek and Ismaily in order to have a chance to survive the drop.
