Tarek Hamed, Omar El-Said to miss Zamalek’s upcoming league game
Both players played the full 90 minutes as Zamalek beat El-Dakhleya 2-1 on Sunday night, to retrieve the second spot on the league table.
Omar El-Said received a yellow card in the 38th minute after elbowing a Dakhleya player in the face. Then, in the 60th minute Tarek Hamed got booked for hitting an opponent.
This meant that both players reached the maximum amount of yellow cards allowed (3), and will have to miss Zamalek’s next game in the league.
The White Knights were set to face Entag El-Harby on Wednesday May 15, but the game was postponed due to their continental commitment. Meaning that the date and the opponent of their upcoming league clash is yet to be determined.
Zamalek secured their spot in the CAF Confederation Cup final against Morocco’s RS Berkane after beating Etoile du Sahel in the semifinals. The first leg will take place on Sunday May 19 in Morocco, before hosting them in the second leg a week later.
