Mexican official takes charge of Pyramids game against Wadi Degla
The referees committee of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have announced that Mexican referee Roberto García Orozco is set to take charge of Pyramids’ match-up against Wadi Degla in the Egyptian Premier League.
Pyramids will be hosting Wadi Degla at 30 June Stadium in the 32nd round of the league competition with their sights on clinching a new victory in order to keep their tough league winning chances alive or at least challenge for a CAF Champions League spot.
Pyramids sit in the third place in the league table with 65 points after 31 games. On the other hand, Degla are in the 13th place with 35 points and by no mean can afford slipping further points being one of the clubs fighting to avoid relegation.
The EFA announced Garcia Orozco will be at the helm of the game, with Mario López Carrillo and Jimmy Acosta as two assistant referees and Eric Miranda as fourth official
This will be Orozco’s second game in the Egyptian league this season after officiating Al Ahly’s encounter against Al Masry in April, the game which resulted in Al Ahly’s 2-0 victory.
