Ahmed Ali is the top scorer of the egyptian league, my Friend. Although Ahmed Hassan Koka does not even play in the egyptian premier league, he actually plays for Olympiacos in Greece.

The choices are very bad. Why Marwan Mohsen again? Abdallah El Said doesnt have the endurance to play 90 minutes. Walid Soliman? I think Saleh Gomaa played much better than him since he came back from injury. Abol fotouh is maybe a talented player but Zamaleks Abdallah Gomaa deserved a chance as well as Obama.

But as I said the biggest mistake is Marwan Mohsen. I am happy that they chose Ahmed Ali who is in a good Form and the leagues current top scorer. But there are enough other options. Marwan Mohsen is the badest striker in Egypt by faaaaaar.

If you ask me he should look for another sport but not football. I have got friends they play in the third league in Germany and they would do much better than him.

By the way the german third league is from the level comparable to the egyptian premier league.

To be fair most choices are actually not bad. I wouldn’t exclude 85-90% of these players.

But I agree that Marwan Mohsen is awful, Ali is far too old and inexperienced, Walid Soliman is an Average, overrated, aging player and there are better options around.
Abdallah Said is good to have I guess for experience.

So mostly good choices I reckon, but with a few MAJOR exceptions.

I also believe though that you have to trust the manager and judge him with results not with the team selection.
