Amro Tarek assists in NY Red Bulls disappointing draw to Vancouver Whitecaps
Tarek has joined Red Bulls last December from Orlando City and has collected six appearances for his new side across all competitions.
The 26-year-old has started only two of his club’s first seven games, before becoming a regular starter for the New York-based club in their last four MLS games.
Scott Sutter put Vancouver in front after 30 minutes after Joaquin Ardaiz’s deflected cross found him for the right back to finish effectively into the back of the net.
Just before half time whistle, NY Red Bulls’ Kaku sent a cross onto the head of Amro Tarek who headed towards goal before his effort was altered by teammate Brian White to score the equalizer.

In the second half, the Red Bulls took the lead thanks to an own goal from Andy Rose, before Fredy Montero made it even once again in Vancouver’s favor from the penalty spot.
The 27-year-old defender was not named in Egypt’s initial squad for Africa Cup of Nations 2019 which was announced on Tuesday.
