Sassi and Maaloul in, Nagguez out for Tunisia in Africa Cup of Nations

coach Alain Giresse has announced the squad of foreign-based players to be included in squad that will take on the competition of in June.

Tunisia were handed a reasonable draw after they were put in Group E of AFCON along with Mali, Mauritania and Angola. Group E games are set to be hosted by Suez Stadium in Suez.

The first period of Tunisia’s camp will commence on the 1st of June and last until June 11. And this duration will be for the Tunisian players that are active outside their territory, before being joined by the local-based players.

The foreign-based players saw the inclusion of Zamalek’s and Al Ahly’s . However, the Whites’ right back was not named among 17 players.

Tunisia’s foreign-based squad:
