Karim Hafez linked with move to Red Star Belgrade – Reports
Hafez has been somewhat of journey man since leaving Wadi Degla back in 2014 to join Belgian side Lierse SK. Since then he has joined Cyprus’ Omonia Nicosia and French side RC Lens on loan.
Then in 2018, he rejoined Wadi Degla on a free transfer, from there he joined Istanbul Basaksehir on a one-year loan. However, his time in the Turkish capital was unsuccessful as he only played four games, which led him to join Mahmoud Trezeguet’s Kasimpasa.
The left-back impressed with the Apaches as he managed to cement his spot in the team’s starting eleven. He won two and lost eight of his 14 games with his new side, providing two assists along the way.
Now according to Serbian website Srbijadanas, the 23-year-old caught the eyes of Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade, who are managed by his former coach at Omonia Nicosia, Vladan Milojevic.
If he is to join the Red-Whites, Hafez will be participating in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, as they lifted the Serbian league title for the 30th time in their history.
