Raja Casablanca goalkeeper has been called up to the provisional squad following an injury to who remains a doubt.

RS Berkane shot stopper Abdelali Mhamdi picked up a a shoulder injury and as a result is unlikely to take his place and represent his country in Egypt.

As a result, Anas Zniti will link up with the squad so that he is ready to join the final 23 man squad in the event that Mhamdi is not physically able to take part.

Morocco are one of the favourites to win the tournament, and this is partly due to the strength of their goalkeepers. It is unlikely that either Zniti or Mhamdi will get any minutes ahead of Bounou or Munir, however it is a necessary aspect of the squad.

Morocco will play two friendlies against Gambia and Zambia before kicking off their group stage campaign against group underdogs Namibia.
