Ismaily’s Benson Shilongo named in Namibia’s final squad for AFCON
Shilongo made 39 appearances for both Smouha and Ismaily across all competitions and managed to find the back of the net on 10 occasions and provided eights assists.
Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Nyambe was also included in the squad along with Jomo Cosmo’s Riaan Hanamub.
The Brave Warriors have a hard journey ahead of them in the AFCON as they were drawn alongside African powerhouses Morocco and Ivory Coast as well as South Africa.
