Aguirre: I will leave Egypt if I fail to achieve what I aim for

head coach has reiterated it is too early to call the Pharaohs favourites to win the , confessing that he would leave his duty should he fail to achieve the objective he came for.

The Pharaohs have started their camp a week ago in Alexandria as they prepare for , hosted by Egypt, which will take place between 21st June to 19th of July.

Aguirre’s men are preparing to face Tanzania in their first friendly on Thursday ahead of the African showpiece event, and were joined by Liverpool star Mohamed Salah on Wednesday.

“We don’t think about anything right now except the opening game against Zimbabwe. I am only focused on the tournament and I am bound with the Egyptian Football Association with a contract,” Aguirre told reporters.

“However, I will definitely leave if I found myself incapable of achieving the targets of Egypt.”

“We have a squad of 23 players that were chosen by the technical staff with utmost conviction, so I don’t want to discuss any other player out of the list. We will return to Cairo on June 17 to resume preparations. We can’t wait to play at Cairo Stadium in front of the Egyptian audience.”

“I call the Egyptian fans to come in mass to the games, we will do our best to win the title. We are ready for AFCON and the team is complete now with Salah’s arrival, everyone has to acknowledge that the players are fully concentrated especially due to hosting the tournament.”

The Egyptian Soccer coach(Javier Aguirre) should be packing his bags. He thinks its going to be a walk-over!!!!!!, Let me remind him. Egypt is the host nation, but it will not move out of the group stage!!!. African football has completely changed. Wait and see how Zimbabwe wins the first game!!!. And that will be the end of Egypt.
