Rhian Brewster reveals who’s faster between Mane and Salah
Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster gave his verdict on who he believes is the fastest player between Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Both Salah and Mane have played crucial roles in helping Liverpool win their first major trophy under Jurgen Klopp, in last year’s Champions League campaign.
The African duo also helped the Reds finish second in the Premier League and shared the Golden Boot with Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The pair are among the most dangerous forwards in the world of football at the moment thanks to their incredible pace and technique.
However Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster believes that Mane is faster than his Egyptian teammate.
“It’s going to be Sadio or Mo but I’m going to go with Sadio,” Brewster told Soccer AM.
“He’s quick, not just from the FIFA stats but anyway, him and Mo are the quickest in the team.”
“Personally I think he’s one of the best wingers in the world. Messi is on a different planet but I’m not surprised that he voted for Sadio [for the 2019 The Best awards],” he added.
Salah and Mane have recently been nominated for the Globe Soccer Player of the Year awards. Along with fellow teammates Alisson Becker and Virgil Van Djik as well as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Bernardo Silva.
Liverpool are currently unbeaten in the league and sit on top with 28 points, six above second-place Manchester City. Their next game will be against Arsenal on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup, before facing Trezeguet’s Aston Villa on Saturday.
