Wolfsburg’s Omar Marmoush completes hat-trick against HSC Hannover

Egyptian forward completed a hat-trick during their 5-0 win over HSC Hannover in the German Regionalliga Nord.

The defending champions have had a very strong start to the season, as they currently sit on top of their league with 38 points in 17 games.

In their latest game, Wolfsburg hosted bottom-placed HSC Hannover and secured a humiliating 5-0 win.

Marmoush opened the scoring for the Wolves in the 36th minute, before teammate Julian Justvan doubled their lead just moments before the end of the second-half.

Both sides have a had a slow first couple of minutes in the second-half, before the Egyptian scored his side’s third goal in 71st minute. Two minutes later German midfielder Yannik Möker put the nail in the coffin and scored their fourth goal.

Finally in the dying minutes of the encounter, Marmoush completed his hat-trick and awarded his side an important win in their journey towards promotion to the German third division.

The 20-year-old has now found the back of the net on four occasions in his seven appearances and provided one assist. Wolfsburg II will host third-placed SC Weiche Flensburg 08 in their next match on November 9th.

It is also worth mentioning that Marmoush was left-out of Egypt’s squad set to participate in the upcoming U-23 AFCON.
