Mido attacks Egypt players following Liberia performance

Misr El-Makkasa manager and legend Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’ has criticised ’s performance during their 1-0 victory over .

Egypt beat Liberia 1-0 in very unconvincing fashion thanks to a Hamdy Fathi strike in the 84th minute.

Despite having secured their second win under manager Hossam El-Badry, the Pharaohs are yet to convince fans and football personalities around the country.

Former Egypt international, Mido took his criticism to social media where he attacked the players saying that they don’t deserve their spot in the squad.

“The Egyptian national team is very bad honestly. There are some players who shouldn’t have the honour of representing the national team not even on a trial level,” Mido posted on his Twitter account.

Egypt are set to face Kenya on November 14th in their first 2021 AFCON qualifiers game, before visiting Comoros four days later.
