Obama, Awad excluded as Zamalek name squad for Esperance CL clash


Zamalek manager has named his 18-man squad for their quarter-final clash against in the .

The White Knights enter the game after a Cairo derby defeat as Zamalek forfeited the game against Al Ahly on Monday.

Zamalek manager Patrice Carteron has not included Mostafa Fathi and Omar El-Said while Abdallah Gomaa and Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala make their return to the squad following their respective bans.

In addition, the French manager also opted to go into Friday’s game without the services Youssef Obama and goalkeeper Mohamed Awad.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Gennesh, and Mohamed Abou-Gabal.

Defenders: Mahmoud Alaa, Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh, Hazem Emam, Mohamed Abel-Shafy, Mohamed Abdel-Salam, and Abdallah Gomaa.
