The agent of Egypt international , Christos Gatsis, has denied all rumors suggesting that the player received an offer from Greek giants Olymiacos.

Warda who joined side last summer on a season-long loan from league rivals FC, saw his contract terminated for disciplinary reasons.

The 26-year-old who scored seven goals while assisting six in 23 games across all competitions, allegedly missed seven of his side’s last nine training sessions forcing the Larissa board to release him.

Rumors started emerging suggesting Warda’s departure from his parent club, which his agent took it upon himself to debunk.

“I don’t know anything about ’ offer for Warda. Amr has a contract with PAOK until December, his time with Larissa has just ended. I don’t have anything more to tell you,” Gatsis told SFINA.GR

The Al Ahly academy graduate joined Larissa following Egypt’s disappointing 2019 AFCON, where he was involved in the infamous sexual harassment scandal.

This caused his exclusion from the national team squad before returning for their 1-0 loss against South Africa. However, Warda has since never been called-up for the national team under Hossam El-Badry’s management.

KingFut has reached out to Amr Warda for a comment on his Larissa exit, but have yet to receive a response.
