Premier League fixtures for 2020/21 season revealed

The fixtures for the 2020/21 season have been officially announced on Thursday as it kicks off on 12 September.

The season’s start has been delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak that initially halted all football activities back in March.

As a result, the new season’s kick-off has been delayed a month as it starts on 12 September and ends on 23 May of next year.

’s Liverpool are set to begin their title defence next season against newly-promoted Leeds United in their opening game.

Meanwhile, and will have to wait a week for their first game of the season as ’s clash against Manchester City on matchday 1 was postponed to a later date.

The announced schedule also revealed that Liverpool will face Chelsea in the second match-week and Arsenal in the following week.
