Wydad Athletic forward close to joining Al Masry – Report

 side Al Masry are reportedly close to signing Wydad Athletic forward .

Kasengu has been linked with a move to Egypt for a while, with both ENPPI and Pyramids looking to sign the forward.

The 28-year-old had joined Wydad last year from Chabab Mohammedia on a three-year contract after impressing in the CAF Champions League.

He managed to score ten goals and provide five assists in a total of 24 games across all competitions for Wydad last season.

According to a report by Le 360 Sport, Al Masry are looking to acquire the services of the DR Congo international ahead of the new season.

The report also added that Wydad are expecting Al Masry to pay Kasengu’s fee over three instalments during his transfer.

Al Masry have managed to sign Ahmed Shedid Kenawi from Entag El-Harby, Zamalek’s Mohamed Antar, and FC Masr trio Mostafa Soltan, Essam Tharwat, Alaa Atta, and Ahmed Daadour.

The Portsaid-based side finished seventh in the Egyptian Premier League table last season with 48 points, just six points behind fourth place.
