Raja Casablanca head coach, Lassaad Chabbi, said that the club shouldn't sell al ahly target Soufiane Rahimi anytime soon unless it's for a high price.
Rahimi caught Al Ahly's attention during his spectacular performance against Pyramids FC in the Confederation Cup this season.
The Red Devils then reportedly made a $2 million offer for his services, with the moroccan side demanding $3 million.
As Raja arrived in egypt to face Pyramids FC in the Confederation Cup semi-finals on Sunday, Al Ahly will reportedly take advantage of the situation and meet with the club officials to start negotiations.
However, Lassaad Chabbi doesn't want to let go of Rahimi unless Al Ahly offer a big sum, worthy of his capabilities.
“All that European clubs require is available in Soufiane Rahimi. He scores goals, provides assists, and is good at penetrating. He is a great talent,” Chabbi told Arryadia TV.
“The Raja board must know how to market him. The big European teams sign young players of 16 and 17 years for €5m, so the value of Sofiane Rahimi is no less than €7m.
“With the current circumstances, we are not thinking of giving up Rahimi or any other player, because the team needs them all, but sometimes you may receive a huge offer, and then you can't refuse,” he concluded.
Rahimi participated in 34 games with Raja across all competitions during the current season, in which he scored 14 goals and provided 13 assists.
The 25-year-old also has two caps for the Morocco national team, with his last appearance coming in their 1-0 win over Burkina Faso last Saturday.
