Zamalek have announced on their official website that FIFA have obliged the club to pay €450,000 to ex-manager jaime pacheco.
The White Castle has previously declared that Pacheco originally requested €1,700,000, which is the value of the remainder of his contract with the team.
However, the decision made by FIFA ordered the Whites to pay the Portuguese head coach only €450,000 which is around a quarter of the initial amount requested by Pacheco.
FIFA added that Pacheco's assistants will also receive €80,000 instead of €320,000 they asked for. The whole sum has to be paid within the next 45 days.
Pacheco has taken charge of Zamalek starting September of 2020 to lead the team in the CAF champions League final against arch-rivals Al Ahly.
He was then sacked in March of this year after negative results that didn't satisfy the Whites' fans.
Following Pacheco's lay-off, patrice carteron took charge of the club, and although his results were disappointing in the CAF Champions League, he is currently leading the Premier League table with 61 points from 27 games.
